Deselect Resample to preserve the original number of. Increasing resolution - Adobe Photoshop Elements. Is their a way to increase the resolution of a picture. A friend of mine asked me to do something for him in photoshop for a computer science project. He gave me an image of a button and asked me to replace the text and add his groups logo to the button. I know how to get rid of the original text and get rid of the existing image that is on the button, I know how to add the text that he wants and add his groups logo, but when I place the text and logo, the quality of both things are just so low. The original image of the button is 92x24 pixels with a resolution of 72 pixels/inch and increasing just the resolution does nothing. I can increase the size of the image, but he needs to import the image of the button at its original size. Is there any way I can increase the resolution of the image without increasing the size of the original image? Do I have to somehow increase the resolution of the text and logo before I place them on the original image?
